On Thursday, 6 August 2026 a unicycle triathlon will take place as part of UNICON 22. All UNICON 22 participants – competitors and non-competitors alike – who are able to swim 300 m are eligible to take part.

It is the responsibility of the participants – or, for minors, of their legal guardians – to assess whether their swimming ability is sufficient to take part.

According to the race rules the heats are split by men and women. Please choose which group you would like to start in.
Race details
Format 1:15 or 75 (minutes). Heats are seeded by estimated time – please be realistic. Guideline: swim 6–12 min, unicycle 20–35 min, run 10–16 min, plus the two transitions.
A muni with a large wheel diameter is recommended. All unicycles are permitted.
Only needed if you change clothes between the unicycle and the run. If you only drop off items there, you do not need to set anything up in transition area 2.
